The Stockholm Water Prize was awarded to Andrea Rinaldo

On March 21, the Stockholm Water Prize was awarded to Andrea Rinaldo, for his studies on river networks to reduce inequalities thanks to a more equitable distribution of water.
The Stockholm Water Prize is known as the “Nobel Prize of water”, featuring a selection process and award ceremony similar to those of the Nobel Prizes.
Andrea Rinaldo,  memberr since 2014, is professor at the University of Padua and president of the Veneto Institute of Sciences, Letters and Arts.
