The meeting has taken place on October 19th, 2015 in Rome. The National Academy of Sciences and the Latium Region promoted the meeting jointly with the involvement of the Universities, Research Institutions and companies operative in the Region.
On the occasion, the wealth of knowledge linked to scientific research that is carried out in Latium was presented and shared. Its quality and quantity was discussed with the aim of facilitating the identification of additional instruments that allow the transfer of results to industry so as to achieve positive socio-economic effects.
The strategic research areas for the territory have been presented in over 40 reports by researchers and industries, whereas the state of the art and the perspectives of the regional financing system was addressed in the closing round table discussion.
A detailed and comprehensive account of the research activities carried out in Latium by Universities and Research Institutions was made available during the meeting.
