The archival sources of Italian agriculture for the study of history and geography during 19th and 20th centuries. A meeting to be held in Rome on 14th and 15th of May 2019

During recent years history of agriculture received new understanding by connecting itself to land evolution, relationships to industry and to science upgrade. The Meeting plans to scrutinize the written sources of Italian agriculture during 19-20th centuries having in mind of put different disciplinary visions together and receive from them evidence that may point out the status and development of agriculture in Italy during the past two centuries. The meeting is organized by the Department of History, Cultural Heritage, Formation and Society of the Rome University “Tor Vergata”, the National Science Academy said of the Forty, the Department of Bio-agro-alimentary Sciences of National Research Council and the Archivistics and Library Science School,    Department of Letters and modern Cultures, Sapienza University.
