The 41st Congress of the Italian Society of Biogeography will take place in Rome, at the Academic Library,  on 22-23 November 2019. The event is co-organized by the Italian Society of Biogeography and the National Academy of Sciences called of the XL.

Two general themes of the Congress: Citizen Science, Data banks and Biogeography (Coordinator Stefano Martellos, University of Trieste) and Molecular Phylogeography and Species Distribution Models of species (Coordinators Paolo Gratton, MaxPlank Institute,Leipzig and Silvio Marta, University of Milan).

The Conference is dedicated to the memory of Augusto Vigna Taglianti, distinguished biogeographer and academic of XL.
