Meeting ‘History and Memoirs of the National Institute of Health’

The IV meeting ‘History and Memoirs of the National Institute of Health’, promoted by the Institute, presents unpublished information that represents a rich account of the history of Italian public health. Speakers: Monica Bettoni, Carla Basili, Carlo Cecere, Emilia Chiancone, Edoardo Currà, Paola De Castro, Rosalia Ferrara, Enrico Garaci, Rodolfo Gaudio, Cesira Paolini, Alessandro Portelli. The talk by Prof. Emilia Chiancone, President of the National Academy of Sciences called Academy of the XL, will be centered on two leading figures of the Institute, Domenico Marotta and Giovanni Battista Marini Bettòlo, who played important roles in the recent life of the Academy as well.
