Rita Levi-Montalcini. The frontiers of research ten years after her death.

A conference in Rome, on December 1st, organized by the Academy and the EBRI Foundation in collaboration with the Senator for Life Prof. Elena Cattaneo. Through the memory of Rita Levi-Montalcini, the meeting aims to emphasize the importance for society of supporting basic research on the brain. Neuroscience presents us with cognitive challenges that represent a frontier for humanity. Italy has the skills to be at the forefront of this challenge as long as researchers are actively supported by the country’s research system.
