Prying glances. Scientists’ archives between public and private – Part 1/2

Rome, december 13, 2023

Within the tangles of papers, numbers and graphs that make up the archives of scientists, it is possible to discover disenchanted glances at scientific and academic politics, personal relationships that intertwine and intermingle with professional relationships, evaluations, judgments, ideas, passions, almost never fully revealed in the public role of these personalities, but strongly present in their papers. Fragments of life, reported on paper, that lift the veil on how ideas are born and the personalities of those who had these ideas and fought to establish them.
