The volume will be presented on May 6th, 2013 in the framework of the V Meeting on the ‘History of the Italian National Institute of Health’. The volume is due to a joint work of the Academy of the XL and the National Institute of Health, that aims at recollecting the studies by Giovanni Battista Marini Bettòlo – president of both Institutions – on curare. For this work, the personal archival funds of prof. Marini Bettòlo conserved by the Academy have been used to advantage. The Meeting will take place at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, Viale Regina Elena, 299, Rome.
