Geology of the Alps

The meeting ‘Geology of the Alps’ is organized jointly by the Academy and the Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere e Arti to honor Academy member prof. Giorgio V. Dal Piaz and prof. Francesco P. Sassi, two internationally recognized experts of alpine crystalline basements from both the geology and the petrology viewpoint.
