“Climate and its Evolution” Seminar in Mestre

‘Climate and its Evolution ’is the title of the Seminar organized in the framework of the series of meetings on ‘Science and Technology in Anthropocene: Risks and Benefits’, promoted by the National Academy of Sciences. The seminar will take place in Mestre on November 30, 2107. It is organized in collaboration with the Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, the Istituto per la Dinamica dei Processi Ambientali of the National Research Council, CNR, and the  Foundation Giovanni Angelini-Centri Studi sulla Montagna, with the CNR support. The seminar aims at creating an opportunity for teachers and high-school students to meet some of the Italian scientists involved in forefront studies on climate change. Physical and chemical principles at the basis of the climate change will be presented, as well as the topics of climate evolution with special emphasis on the last ten thousand years and its impact on the availability of resources, water in particular.
