The Academy possesses an exceptional documentation on the History of Quantum Physics. This collection was started by a group of American scholars in the 1960’s. The AHQP consists in documentation on 210 reels of microfilms and 108 reels of registration (175 interviews of 95 people involved in the development of Quantum Physics). Material of great importance includes the activities of Niels Bohr documented through his correspondence and interviews. As well as, Pauli’s correspondence with Heisenberg, Stark’s and Sommerfield’s correspondence at the Deutches Museum, Einstein’s correspondence with Lorentz, and that of many others. The Archive representshistoric resource of great importance for scholars in this field and is accessible through a micro-reader located at the Academy Library. |
