In the past few years the Academy has intensified its activity of scientific disclosure towards schools, with the aim to promote a profitable dialogue between those who “make science” and those who study or teach science so that scientific and cultural formation could be advanced and updated as much as possible with every citizen. The idea to establish interaction among scientists, experts in the history of science, middle school and high school professors and students came about in view of the fact that our first contact with science takes place in schools. The first introduction to science begins in elementary and middle schools and continues to the university level and the first questions in the various scientific disciplines are asked. This first encounter will have a relevant impact on their future approach in this field.

With this aim the Academy organises, in collaboration with elementary and middle schools, conferences, seminars, debates, exhibitions and refresher courses for teachers with the support of didactic material and multimedia equipment.
