The ceremony for the inauguration of the Academic Year takes place every year in the spring. It is an important event for the Academy. On this occasion the activities that took place during the year are presented, as well as the prospective activities for the future. During the ceremony the new academy members are officially presented and the various prizes are awarded. Usually the newly elected members are invited to give a short lecture on his or her specific area of research or study. On this occasion the first annual Assembly meeting also takes place. |
