Conference in occasion of the centennial anniversary of Einstein’s theory of relativity

The conference was organized in the occasion of the International Year of Physics, which celebrates the 100th anniversary of Albert Einstein’s contributions that have revolutionized our knowledge of the world of physics, including the notorious theory of special relativity.
The conference illustrated the event through a panoramic representation of the important activities of research that involve Italian scientists in the field of physics, gravitation and cosmology, sectors founded on the great innovative work of Einstein.
The Italian National Academy of Sciences thanks the National Institute of Nuclear Physics and the National Institute of Astrophysics for their financial support in organizing the conference.
